Sitting on his haunches with his trunk in the air, Trumpet is a playful little pachyderm who looks like a prankster. His merry black eyes twinkle as a smile plays tug-of-war with the corners of his pink mouth--he's just waiting to laugh at life's next joke. His baby-soft velour coat is slate gray with a hint of cocoa; his ear linings and furry embroidered footpads are the color of cream. Trumpet appears to be an elephant of the African variety, with a rounded forehead and ears that tend toward the triangular. He was born on February 11, 2000. He's a mischievous-looking mite who'd be lucky to get the topmost branches off a Bonsai tree. But we're sure he won't lack for snacks, not with that perky proboscis.
